Three pillars of sustainable food production

CEA Reefer Nodes

Four climate-controlled 53-foot insulated containers producing fish, eggs, microgreens, mushrooms, and leafy greens year-round — zero seasonal limitation, zero synthetic inputs.

The Farm

Renewable Energy

A 30kWh solar array and net-zero wood boiler power all operations. We are researching pyrolysis-based syngas and bio-asphalt production to close the energy loop completely.

Technology

AI & Automation

IoT sensor networks, TensorFlow ML models, computer vision, AR glasses, drones, and a 3D-printed robotic arm — Agriculture 5.0 running on an operational farm in rural Pennsylvania.

AI & Robotics

Closed-loop aquaponics

Fish and plants grow together in a closed loop — fish waste fertilizes the plants, plants filter the water back to the fish. Our systems recycle more than 90% of water compared to conventional soil farming and discharge zero synthetic chemicals into Pennsylvania’s watersheds.

Four insulated reefer units produce tilapia, shrimp, kale, spinach, lettuce, cucumbers, bell peppers, six microgreen varieties, and four mushroom species — year-round, chemical-free, in Monroe County, PA.

Energy independence

A 30kWh ground-mounted solar array — built on mounts fabricated from our own timber — powers all farm operations. A net-zero wood boiler using dead ash, oak, and maple from the property provides heat year-round. Grid independence was not optional. It was essential.

We are also researching pyrolysis and syngas production from organic waste — working toward a fully off-grid energy model that other chapter farms can replicate without external infrastructure.

Community & education

Fresh eggs, microgreens, and produce are donated directly to Monroe County families and food pantries. On-farm workshops cover aquaponics, renewable energy, and AI-assisted farming — free and open to the public. Youth and farmer training programs run year-round on-site.

We are building a chapter and franchise model so other communities can replicate this system — independently self-sustaining, paying market salaries, and contributing back to the mission collectively.

Appetite AI — fighting the obesity epidemic

Access to empty calories is as catastrophic as hunger. We built Appetite AI — a free iOS and Android app that uses wearable health data, real-time hunger scoring, and AI meal scheduling to help people eat at biologically optimal times and reach a healthy weight through physician-approved protocols.

No subscriptions. No accounts required. Built on the same AI and sensor technology that runs the farm.

Appetite AI app available on iOS App Store and Google Play
